Markaos today received an enquiry from Cross Rhythms who have three FM radio stations in the UK and the most visited Christian website in Europe. They have asked Markaos for a copy of his album 'Entered The Building' so they can review it and put this on their website. Markaos had this to say:
"I am just totally amazed and overwhelmed that Cross Rhythms have got in touch with me. They're a massive Christian company and I would never have dreamed that they would be enquiring about 'Entered The Building'. This truly is all down to God and what he's doing in my life, I think it's totally awesome."

Markaos performed at the Taverham Evangelical Church carol service infront of over 200 people, performing one of his new tracks that will feature on his next album 'Spit The Truth' which will be released later on in 2009. After his performance, this is what he had to say:
"I really enjoyed it tonight and I've had extremely positive feedback from nearly everyone who attended. My highlight of the night was after the performance when I had an 81 year old lady come up to me, gave me a hug and told me that she despised rap and has always turned it off whenever it came on the radio. She then shocked me to say she absolutely loved my song and that it completely changed her view on Christianity and what Christmas is actually all about, which I thought was amazing."

Markaos today released news that he will be travelling to the United States of America in February 2009 to promote his album, "Entered The Building", and some new material that will be on his second album, "Spit The Truth", which will be released later on in 2009. Official dates are yet to be confirmed, but it's likely he'll be performing in West Virginia, New York, Philadelphia, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Today was the first time for a Markaos track to be broadcast on BBC Radio! The track "God's Chosen" was aired at 7:45am. Every week, 218,000 people tune in to BBC Radio Norfolk - almost a third of all adults in Norfolk.
"I'm extremely pleased", says Markaos, "it's a big deal and I didn't expect it to happen. It's a very popular radio station and I know hundreds of thousands of people listen to it each week. I'd like to thank BBC Radio for playing the track and plugging my website. They've been a great help.

Markaos would like to thank everyone who came to the 'Reach' event at Pilling Park, Norwich this year. There were just over 500 people who attended, of which many enjoyed the live performance by Markaos. Markaos has released a short statement about the event:
"I really enjoyed performing at Pilling Park this year. There was a good crowd and they seemed to enjoy my music. If I was invited back next year then I'd definitely be willing to perform!"

Get down to the annual event 'Reach' on Saturday, July 7th 2007!
Markaos will be performing at this event which is held in Pilling Park, Pilling Park Road, Norwich. This will be Markaos' first performance at the 'Reach' event, so come on down and make it a memorable debut! Entry is free and the gates open from 6pm onwards. A barbecue will be held and there'll be attractions such as a bouncy castle and BMX track among other things.
Last year, over 500 people turned up for 'Reach'. But, we want to beat that figure this year and we need your help! Spread the word to anyone who you think would be interested on coming and help make this the best supported 'Reach' ever!
So, put the date in your diaries and come on down to support Markaos!

Well, we have a few updates for you today!
First of all, we now have an online community forum for fans of Markaos to join! The link to the forum is on the left hand side of every page on this site, so go there and signup now! If you want to talk about the music of Markaos, his gigs, or anything else you can think of, then the forum is the place to do it. Enjoy!
The second bit of news is Markaos performed at 'Wildlife' in Drayton on Friday night. It took place infront of a few hundred people, and went down a treat! More to follow on this.
Finally, the album is completely written. Just the recording of the final few tracks needs to be done, so soon we'll be able to provide you with more information regarding a release date. More information will be announced on this site as we get it, so keep checking back!

Markaos' bio is now up for viewing, so take a look! It's a detailed account of how Markaos has got to where he is today, so you'll learn more about the man himself. Here's an excerpt:
"He was born with asthma, which manifested at 18 months old. During his young years he was in and out of hospital on many occasions and in a few circumstances was very close to deaths door as his asthma took a hold of his life. But this man was born for greatness and to do God’s work and there was no way God was going to let the devil put him down. He survived his childhood years with a machine called a nebulizer, which basically kept him alive every time he had asthma attacks."

Markaos performed Friday, April 27th 2007 at Norwich Family Life Church in Drayton, Norwich, for an event called 'Wildlife' where there were around 200 teenagers in God's house. He performed four of his new tracks which took the roof off the building, leaving the crowd wanting more and begging the question: "When is your album being released?"!
